Terms of Service
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, installing, accessing, or using Noreto, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use Noreto. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your login credentials, device security, and all activity under your account. Notify security@noreto.life if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Your content
You own the people, promises, rituals, notes, vault entries, and other content you create. You grant Noreto a limited license to host, process, display, back up, and transmit that content only as needed to provide and protect the service.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not use Noreto for illegal, abusive, harassing, exploitative, or harmful activity.
- Do not upload content that violates another person's rights or privacy.
- Do not attempt to access another user's account, data, systems, or private content.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, interfere with, or bypass security controls of the service.
- Do not use Noreto as an emergency, crisis, medical, therapy, legal, or financial advice service.
6. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Noreto may offer Free, Keeper, and Family tiers. Paid plans are processed through Google Play, Apple, RevenueCat, or other payment providers. Subscription pricing, renewal, cancellation, taxes, trials, and refunds may be governed by the store or provider through which you purchased. Cancel subscriptions through the same store account used to buy them. Noreto may change plan features or prices with notice where required.
7. Notifications and communications
You agree that Noreto may send transactional messages such as OTP codes, account notices, deletion reminders, billing notices, support replies, and app notifications. You can manage push notification permissions in your device settings and certain email preferences in the app when available.
8. Service availability
We work to keep Noreto reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability. Features may change, pause, or be removed as the product evolves.
9. Account deletion and termination
You may request account deletion from Profile or by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, abuse the service, or are required to be restricted by law. Deletion and retention are described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
Noreto is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the app will prevent regret, repair relationships, improve mental health, or produce any specific life outcome.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Noreto is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Noreto in the 12 months before the claim, or CAD $100 if you paid nothing, unless local law requires otherwise.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Noreto changes. Material changes will be communicated in the app, by email, or on noreto.life when practical. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province or territory in which Urfin Inc. is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you additional rights, those rights still apply.
